On a warm summer evening... the Fae Family assembled in front of their fireplace, to listen to the Story, that's been in the Fae family for ages now...
...and it goes as follows:
"... back in the days, I visited the sylph in the Black Shroud on a somewhat regular basis, to engage in their crystal trades. Yes, yes they were the best and we soon became very good trading partners. One summer... something was not right... the Sylph were all excited and you could hear it getting whispered everywhere. "The Chosen Ones!" "The Chosen Ones!". So I got curious, but they would not answer my questions cause they were just too excited as the word spread. So I went home that day, full of thoughts about "The Chosen Ones!" but no idea what's the meaning of it. It was time to do some research. After a while of visiting various libraries that I came across while travelling the land for crystal trades, I finally found an ancient text, that foretold the story of 8 (or more, lost in translation) Saplings that differed from the others. They were blessed by Hydaelyn and thus, immune to the influence of Primals. Soon, it showed that their immunity wasn't the only gift they inherited. They were able to wield weapons as no Sylph before was able to. They were sent out to train and soon they became strong enough to protect the Sylph homelands from almost anything... they bested the Primals, summoned by various beast tribes, they even bested Ramuh, summoned by their own brethren "The Touched Ones"... this was where the text abruptly ended. "The rest must have been destroyed in the brush fires of the Garlean invasion..." I thought to myself.
Driven by the thirst for knowledge I packed all my stuff and immediately started my voyage back to the Sylph homelands, to learn more about "The Chosen Ones". I was lucky, as I got near the Village, I already noticed a big crowd near the village entrance. So I hurried to make my way there and see what’s going on with my own eyes. As I got closer and closer, I could feel a strange power lingering in the air. "The Chosen Ones" I mumbled to myself.
I could not believe my own eyes as I finally got there. There they were 8 Sylph surrounded by a strong aura. I crossed my eyes with one of them, and instantaneously, a cold shiver ran down my spine. The whole crowd suddenly went silent, and one of them began to speak, and this is what his deep voice had to proclaim:
""The Chosen Ones" are the Fae Fatale and "The Chose Ones" welcomes all of "The Woken Ones" to learn a bit more about what "The Chosen Ones" do and why "The Chosen Ones" do enjoy it so much.
"The Chosen Ones" are the Sylph's best warriors for all kinds of Savages and Extremes. "The Chosen Ones" main goal is to help "The Woken Ones" to find their way into "Endgame"-ish Savage fights as they are usually very fun to do but can look very confusing and frightening if seen from the outside. The Fae Fatale is all about having fun together and learning a fight bit by bit until "The Chosen Ones" manage to clear it at least once or even more often if there's a mount/glam people want.
The Faetale team is currently running the Eden Raids on Savage to get people the hang of how most fights go / what they can expect from Savages in general.
"The Chosen Ones" don't have any lvl or ilvl requirements, besides what each fight has on its own and "The Chosen Ones" are not requiring "The Woken Ones" to be good, as long as they are trying their best!""
...and as soon as they finished their speech, glaring light emerged from them, engulfing everybody and everything in it. Once the light subsided... "The Chosen Ones" were gone, and all they left was a letter, encouraging Adventurers to join, but leaving nothing but a riddle, where to find them...
...and with that the Storytime of the Fae came to an end ... for now ...
are the legends true? Are the Fae Fatale still roaming the lands fighting their way through thick and thin? May the twelve guide them...
